This week’s Wednesday party celebrates the “soft launch” of the new New York Night Train. “Soft launch” is a tech term that means we’ve thrown the site online but we’re not making too much commotion because we gotta see how it works, get feedback, correct bugs, etc. Since it’s taken Marc from the fantabulous S-S-S-Spectres and yrs truly a heck of a lotta work to get the dang thing up there for you, this is our big high five in translated into party music. Early on we’re also gonna have a set by David Bucci of Falcon and the Snowman/Enduro fame, his second-to-last hurrah before moving to Seattle to bring back grunge. Bucci’s bandmate President Charming will also be on hand to play a few sentimental goodbye songs and publicly proclaim his longtime crush on his guitarist. You will also get the typical DJ artistry of NYNT’s soul proprietor, NYNT Recordings giveaways, and surprise appearances by DJs from the local music community.
