The night owls shake and shimmy to wild 45rpm party favors – obscurities, novelties, and classics with a pumpin’ heartbeat from the 1950s to the present – soul, garage, girl groups, New Orleans beat, glam, punk, freakbeat, rockabilly, ye ye, new and local underground rockers – supreme jams from across the board performed, recorded, and now re-assembled with both rawness and immediacy for your dancing pleasure. Recent guest DJs have included David Johansen, Jon Spencer, Ian Svenonius, and many more. Tonight is the afterparty for pretty much everybody. C’mon down and get into it.





And then, tomorrow, we take it up a couple of notches to obscene proportions….



Sat, Dec 5: Brooklyn, Glasslands: Panache/New York Night Train Holiday Party w/Stalkers, Beets, War Party, and late night dancing with Mr. Jonathan Toubin and Josh Styles, 9pm – 4am, $5: Need we say anymore? A reason to celebrate in itself. A bunch of familiar good-time local institutions rocking you all night long. The bands go on early and then the DJs get you dancing after midnight until the dawn. Also, NYNT enthusiasts, the beautiful and talented Anna Copa Cabanna is doing her special Anna Copa Cabanna show at Joe’s Pub – technically you could do both. Oh yeah, if you’re stuck at home, check out the Stalkers on Fox 5 at 12:30pm – but for only a fin you could have the real thing. Get down and get into it – we go late gate…
