JONATHAN TOUBIN threw down four hours of sweaty soul and r&b to a sold out crowd. Then rock god/party pro ANDREW W.K. took over the turntables while Toubin and The Mighty Fine‘s STEVE MYERS got on the mics and judges PETE SHAPIRO (Brooklyn Bowl) , MICHELLE CABLE (Panache Booking), CANDACE MILLS (Team Clean NYC), SACHA LEWIS (Flavorpill), BENJAMIN TURLEY (The Meat Hook), ANDREW GERSON (Brooklyn Brewery), and legendary music producer/author JOE BOYD (White Bicycles – Making Music in the 1960s) took the stage. First place got $100 in cash and remained onstage to compete with winners Brooklyn Brewery flew in from around the US. AUSTIN, TX got $1000 cash 1st prize and BOSTON, MA got the$250 Metropolis Vintage shopping spree! Then the dancing continued ’til closing time….
